Target is making a massive push to "re-launch" their Electronics departments and gaming is becoming a focus. Right now the prototype stores (like the one I work at) and high traffic Target stores are expanding the available pre-order lists.
The biggest thing for my prototype store is that we've changed our Interactive Guest Assistance Kiosk in Video Games to now focus on upcoming games (either games that just released like Borderlands 2 to games that are almost out like Dishonored to games hitting in October and November mostly). It explains how to pre-order at Target, how to trade things in at Target and it is on a continuous loop of game trailers.
Of which one of them is for PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale (among countless other trailers of games hitting over the next couple of months)
