Microsoft left a bad taste in my mouth with a console going 2 - 3 years with high failure rates. Then the failure rates still existed. Ps3 itself is not exempt from this complaint. 360 most notably though has the highest failure rates of any console I've ever played. I didn't even think it was possible to go through 5 of the same system over the course of a generation.
Wii still works fine. Its been a slow year for wii but it gave me time to look through and find some games I overlooked over it's course. Learnt never to trust microsoft again though. Never buying a system in the first two years from them again.
