i always found kinda absurd this fanboy argument of why they hate nintendo: "all you get in nintendo consoles are mario games"
it's true that there are lots of games that use the name mario, but they are not the same game: new super mario it's not the same as paper mario, paper mario it's not the same as mario galaxy, mario galaxy it's not the same as mario kart, mario kart it's not the same as mario 3d land and so on...
nintendo uses the name "mario" as some kind of trademark for saying "this are our quality games" and people keeps buying them because they know that if it has the name "mario" in it, then it's a good game
