1.) I hate DLC and I hope that Nintendo gamers wont suffer because of this. To this day I did not even buy 1 single DLC pack whatever not for PS3 360 PC etc.

NSMB is a tricky thing it plays with the retro feeling but at the same time it is way to simple in terms of level design as well as difficulty. Were are my complicated levels like in SMB3 or Mario World? Where are the hidden platforms in the sky? Where are little details like seeing a [?] block to high for jumps to reach so I can kick a turtle shell upwards and a 1UP mushroom comes out? The game is way to simple.

Mario 3D Land on the other hand even tho the first half of the game is to easy it gets harder and the design is also better.

But I always loved Nintendo games because they are the complete package. Now this seems to change and I am worried because I hate DLC. I hope Zelda Metroid 3D Mario will never get DLC!

2.) I think most people here overact a bit. I mean I have more Wii games than I have NES SNES N64 or Cube games. And I have not even completed 50% of the Games I own. Sure the last year for the Wii was really bad for people that buy 2 games a month or so but I bought Skyward Sword, Last Story, Xenoblade.

And Xenoblade is one of the best games I have played in 15 years or so. I cannot really complain. I dont play 1 game for a whole weekend and then wonder what to do next. This isnt doing the game justice. I play a few hours a week. This is more immersive IMO and so I think about the same game for a month or two because I didnt rush though the game. Its more fun this way.
And because of the long time period I was in touch with the game I tend to like the games more.     Sure this doesnt work for people who constantly buy games finish them and then sell them again but for me It works I never  sold 1 Nintendo game I bought no matter how old or how much value it has

3). I also dont understand this region lock crap. Sure Nintendo wants to earn more money in Europe and would lose money if all europeans would import from the US but why are US consoles blocked from playing JAP games? Its not like Japanese games are cheaper than US games. And Nintendo complains about the currency conversion. So there is no real reason for this at all other than WE HAVE TO DO IT OTHERWHISE EUROPEANS WOULD SAY ITS UNFAIR.

Make US and EU versions incompatible and let us all import from Japan. And if you want let americans import from europe (sucks for europa but why would americans suffer for no reason? And JAP and EU games for europeans is still better than EU only)

Or even better: Since region lock is a matter of software and firmware why dont they make Wii consoles block games that are released in every territory and at the same time make the JAP only games region free?

Or if this would not work because you dont know if you want to bring the games to the west later then what about this here?

Let me as a EU or US customer pay a 10$ (and 8€ not 10€ (because 10$ =/= 10€) you hear me?!?!?!) so again let us pay a 10$ fee for a eShop update that unblocks a specific game we imported. I mean in a world of shitty microtransactions where a stupid avatar hat or ingame rings with no purpose cost 5$ I would be glad to pay 10$ to get access to a game that I otherwhise would not be able to play.

Region lock is shit but if they do it they should at least give us an option to still play the game be it a small fee or whatever its bette than the FUCK YOU! Region lock usually means.
