The franchise is actually showing some decent growth though. While not on the scale of COD, it's certainly a massive cash cow for EA.

Fifa 12 has sold 12 million copies, despite the lack of software sales from the PSP and Wii versions over 11'.

In comparison to Fifa 11, Fifa 12 saw a 500k increase on the 360 and a 1.3 million increase on the PS3.

Fifa 12 (PS3) is the highest selling EA sports title ever. It's going to be interesting to see how Fifa 13 performs.
