- Either HD style sprites or cel shaded 3D models
- Improved online structure for multiplayer, doesn't have to be a lobby with legit interaction outside maybe those that know your friend code but a few more features that you can determine. Make it easier to battle, trade or whatever online will add to the game's replay value.
- Easier breeding, even if it is adding the ability to have 2 sets of potential parents breed at once, or using the 3DS to monitor actual physical steps the player takes to help hasten the actual egg hatching time instead of in game steps.
- Interesting SpotPass features
