Dude, it's SF. I've been playing it since forever, and even if it looks wrong, it isn't.

If you're on a D-Pad, and you hit F,D,F and Punch, it will work.

If you do it on an analog stick quickly (like I mentioned), it will work.

So your negativity here is not really needed.
