I bought the game on its interesting concept. Exploring run down Tokyo is great fun yet I don't really know why I keep playing. I usually can't stand games that make you start over from scratch after you die.
It's a hard game where random events drive you on, and the limited visibility due to the sideways downward camera can easily put you in deadly situations if you're not careful. Attacking a crocodile with a Pomeranian wasn't one of my brightest ideas either of course. Poor little doggy with his antenna hat and little blue shoes. Luckily you do get extra lives every time you mate. (Unless the crocodile eats your brothers and sisters first :/)
I finally reached 30 years survived and unlocked a story chapter and a new animal, a fearsome house cat... It will be a while before I get my revenge on that croc. (won't be there of course, all bonus item and animal placements are randomized)
