That's the back story. The question is whether it's true, or true enough to justify shooting their own products in the foot.

They could be saying ''well we did just fine w/o nintendo so...'' of course, that's not the logic reasoning business wise but... well it's EA

It will be a shock if they ever post a profit.  They've been losing money for so long.  I don't know how they are still in business or able to even buy / destroy more companies.  RIP Bullfrog and Westwood...
