you might well be right that it wouldnt be as dramatic as it seems in my head, and could well get confusing with pokemon health healing and the like. But i think at the very least id like to see pokemon evolve during battles once you have knocked out the opponents current pokemon as it annoys me when ive levelled up and have to beat another 3 or 4 pokemon before i can evolve my pokemon.
