Did Resident Evil Revelations max out the 3DS's maximum graphics ?

Revelations is the actual benchmark for 3DS graphics and I wonder if it really is the holly grail of the maximum visuals on the handheld.

 

 

I wonder if somebody ever is going to push this kind of graphics on the platform on a regular basis or if it is just rare thing to happen from time to time.

A little of topic, but I wonder if next portable new zelda will adopt twilight princess, skyward sword or wind waker style.

I think that Moster Hunter 4 will be as impressive but won't have the same level of textures. You'd have to build a game around narrow corridors and closed environments to match or surpass RER. It also sacrificed gameplay for graphics when they ignored framerate stability. 

The only time I had any issues with the framerate was in the loading rooms. With 3D always on, I never suffered any perceivable drops.
