Basically what he is saying is that no SKU has recieved more than one (1) price cut.
It is fair to say that the minimum price to purchase a PS3 has dropped by $100 since launch, and the maximum price to purchase a PS3 has dropped by $100 since launch. So if you feel the need to look at the PS3 as a single product (rather than accept that each individual SKU is its own product) then looking at it that way the PS3 has recieved a single $100 price cut.
Its not complicated really. Short of some very warped logic the PS3 has effectively had 1 price drop for $100.

/agree It used to be blasphemy for anyone to say it had only 1 price cut...now they insist on it...at least I agree with them now =P
