Pretty much the only comparable 3DS game I've played is Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, which is only a minor visual improvement over the PS2 entries from what I can tell. Mario Kart 7 looks pretty good, running at 60 frames per second, but it doesn't really push the hardware so much.
Monster Hunter 4 looks great. It's getting some flak for its graphics... from Sony fans, mostly. I think it looks markedly better than Tri, especially in terms of art design.
