Final Fantasy is more on the Sony side but it's a lot smaller these days than the other four franchises listed. Nintendo's ambitions are pretty obvious, they had no success getting mainline Final Fantasy games so far and in the west they still couldn't get Rockstar to publish mainline GTA games on their consoles but the direction is clear. |
Which is precisely why I feel that they'll succeed in getting a mainline FF this time. S-E and Nintendo have gotten more genial with each other over the years, and I can't imagine FF not coming to WiiU.
GTA seems to be an even iffier position; I don't know what Rockstar's stand is with WiiU, but I think that would be more difficult.
