The entry level price has dropped by 100 and the high end price dropped by 100 but the big difference what you seem to overlook is the fact that unlike with the 20GB entry level system before Sony actually seems to eb pushing the 40GB entry level model much more. Which makes it a viable system. I am sorry but the 20GB model was forgotten about a few months after launch as sony and stores were pushing the 60GB model. In fact if you want ot be strict about in July 2007 entry level was actually 600 as the 20GB model was discountined before the announcement of the 80GB SKU 60GB/clearance.
