I believe that the US market saw two price cuts, as there were two seperate cuts to the minimum PS3 entry price.

However, here in Australia we have had just one cut. At launch, the only available PS3 was around $US900, it is now at around $US640. Only a company that is desperate has a $US260 price cut in its first year in a market. Thats not to say Sony are still desperate, but they definitely were. Then again, only a company that is very egotistical prices a games console with no good games at $US900. Then again, at $US640, with only marginally better games and no BC or rumble, we are still getting screwed.
