But the zig-zag pattern under their necks are exactly the same.  That would be a huge coincedence.

It's possible, but how common is it to for people to check random peoples interent galleries?

Maybe the same missle was used to bomb both of the silhouettes necks.  It's Gearbox's way of showing that the Borderlands universe exists within the Star Wars universe.
