What's really funny about the line is that Sony's "two pricecuts" were needed to get the PS3 down to the 360's launch price. It started out 50% more expensive and still managed to track close to 360 sales. Now it's still more expensive and has fewer games and it's outselling the 360. Imagine if it had one of its major titles out.
And to rub salt in MS's wounds, even with the "desperate" price cutting, Sony was able to become profitable in 2/3 of the time AND without a single AAA title (360 needed Halo3 to become profitable).
Of course, there's also the fact that in the same way the PS3 has technically had 4 SKUs and 2 price cuts, the 360 has had 5 SKUs and 3 (misguided) pricecuts.
You do not have the right to never be offended.
