My point is that not all of those games listed were even remotely hyped as a saving grace. Some of them were disappointments in sales overall but things like Disgaea and MLB aren't known for selling millions in the first place. And unproven new IPs like SoundShapes and Gravity Rush don't tend to sell millions either unless they are on a console that has sold millions of systems already. LBP, AC, and CoD might only have a few week boosts, but those are games that can at least be cited as reasons people may buy the system. Not ports of older games and unproven franchises.

The reason I brought up internet hype is because there are a lot of websites where the sites have devoted following towards one game and will tout how excited they are for a game, and that game will not sell millions of copies (i.e. Disgaea, MLB: The Show, Persona, Tales of series, Fire Emblem, Alan Wake, Ratchet & Clank, the list goes on and on). Some of these games you would think should be selling as much as Call or Duty or Assassin's Creed, but it's simply not going to happen.

Come on, Gravity Rush was so hyped up to be THE game to own. People are still trying to sell it as the game of the forever for the Vita. Resistance was hyped similarly until the point the reviews rolled in. Sound Shapes was hyped to a certain degree. I own all of those games. Jonnys list might not be entirely accurate but the point stands, we are going from savior to savior without finding one yet. Nitpicking about the actual list doesn't change the message.

Edit: I clearly remember back in april when people thought the Vita would have an sbolutely beastly month of june with Sonys big three, Resistance, LBP and Gravity Rush.

Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.
