That aside, I'm part of the PC gaming master race so I don't care what pitiful "high tech" parts you lowly console peasants think you'll be getting in your next generation of consoles!

No, you do, because a higher baseline for consoles means less stringent hardware constraints for PC ports and tech development in the industry in general. 

I'll admit you got me there. There are very few games made first for PCs. I've just been wrapped up in BF3 and DotA 2 recently.
