Durango and Orbis will be out next year and even if one slipped to 2014, it would still NOT be using that new 2014 tech. So in reality it won't matter and is a baseless point. Wii U is on par with anything Durango/Orbis is doing. Its just sad Retro or someone else couldn't of had a game ready for launch that really demonstrates this power. MS and Sony won't make that mistake and they didn't with their current gen consoles. Nintendo should of had something to prove the point right off the launch. |
The track record was pretty good with the 360(pretty much using the latest GPU tech from 2005, just the weaker version) so we'll see if they decide to release the next installment in 2014 with the same idea. If it is, then it will be a pretty big jump, if they don't want to wait, then they are not going to be much more powerful than the Wii U if they also want to go tablet controller route.
