Although, I admit, this song is not even one of my favourite Blondie's 80's releases, even though it was popular at the time and has a really cool genre mix; and of their #1 singles from 80/81, I think Atomic was their best, followed by Rapture or Call Me.
Atomic is more the style Blondie was popular for, they started out as a proto punk band and then hit the big time when they began introducing disco elements (the style mix that would take off in the 80's and pioneered by Blondie and the Cars).
Rapture was the very first rap song to hit #1 on pop music charts, and it was something like 10 years before another one succeeded.
Call Me was a popular rock song, nothing particularly special, but it was very popular in the US.
I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.
