Well since KH1 and its sequel were PS2 exclusives, I doubt we'll see any remakes on a Nintendo system. It's not completely out of the question, just highly doubtful.

What about Chain of Memories, two spin offs and Kingdom Hearts 3D?

I was referring to the first 2 games specifically.  I know plenty of spinoffs and exclusives have found their way to Nintendo handhelds, but I was just saying that ports or updates of PS2 games on a Nintendo console are highly unlikely.  I'd honestly be surprised if SE re-released those games on the Wii U in addition to the PS3, for the simple fact that it would open up the floodgates for all kinds of re-releases on Nintendo systems like FFX HD.  I think Sony would fight tooth and nail to keep that from happening.

What makes you say that? There are other HD collections like DMC HD that are multiplat. MGS: GZ is a new MGS game that is on the 360. MH isn't even on Sony platforms anymore. I don't think Sony really cares or would put much effort into stopping multiplats from happening. Especially for something low key like a collection. FF X HD is still on Sony platforms but I think that's a different case from a KH collection. Didn't SE say it wouldn't be a remaster, exactly? With the KH collection it's just the same thing, in HD.

Although... I wonder how much longer FFX HD WILL be scheduled for Sony systems?  I have a feeling that too may become a multiplat.

If it even comes out on the Sony systems l0l.

Pretty sure it has a chance of coming out for the Wii-U, maybe the reason why its taking so long is cause their developing it for the Wii-U? Who knows ;p

Yeah, and besides, even S-E can't afford to be exclusive to Sony much longer; the hardware company is suffering quite a lot of losses lately, and if Square continues to develop for them, it would just get more and more expensive and ultimately it would be bad for business.  Given the way Nintendo has been courting hardcore games lately, I wouldn't be surprised if we see both this and FFX HD eventually come to WiiU.

See?  I've already overcome my pessimism.
