Nintendo will make a headversion of the upad, and (like johnny lee's 2007 YT videos) it will do headtracking.. (you could call it analog if you want) Wii u can send the picture to the head screen.. with motion + and gyro.. you can do perfect headtracking.. (like the e3 bird demo or the tokyo street demo) Nintendo will be first.. |
Yes, virtual reality.
There is no indication that Nintendo is planning on making that, but tech is available that will make this possible. There is also no reason to believe that either company will do something like this "first".
Perfect headtracking isn't a sure thing with the tech in the Wii U. If motion can not yield good enough results they will have to also implement a motion camera, which Nintendo has not yet done while both Sony and Microsoft have been using for quite some time, Sony especially with Microsoft more in depth recently.
I am only pointing out the possibility of having something rather spectacular using existing tech. Even if they only put sixaxis in a 3D viewer, marketed it as PlayStation and allowed developers to map controls with it for head movements in first person games aside from a simple dual analog controller, it would still be great.
Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(
