Exactly. So now I have 9 years of accessories with no use for the new phone.

So do you expect a company to NEVER change their connector?

All of my old computers had PS/2, Serial, Parallel, ISA, , etc. ports, but they aren't on there now. If ports never changed then all of those old ports would still be on modern computers now.
