Well, that's one reason to avoid too many internet rumors. I thought they'd eveal this model, but @ similar prices to current PS3s. Though I wouldn't give up hope just yet, they only announced the low end to have a bundle @ $269.99. A standalone 250GB could be $229.99 (a price drop, even if it is just $20).

There might be a price drop (clearance) on the old slims... I'll keep my fingers crossed.
