Wii U won’t make Achievements Mandatory for all games.

Nintendo = Acheivement system wont be mandatory, will be up to developer, but if they add it, you can show it off

Its very likely developers will optionally choose to add acheivements, because its a selling point to their game, making it look like it has more content.

So to all the crazy people, take your meds and calm your selves.

So much this. Can't people read what the article says. Achievements are still freaking there, they are just not mandatory for every single game. Complaining about it not being it is nitpicking at best. I have plently of games with achievements bulit-in and that doesn't effect my overall enjoyment of the game whatsoever. I guess some people really want to increase there levels. IMO it's not necessary.
