I honestly don't see why they couldn't put it in. For a big company like ninty it'll be simple. All just for trying not to seem like a copy-cat? Under the guise of "It doesn't matter"?
An achievement/trophy system is not a turn-off, but it'll serve well to turn a lot of ppl on. Well, you know what I mean.
