ugh yes he is. Control options of a handheld is far less limited compared to a home console. No one would expect such a thing from a vita or a 3ds. But any racing game fan would expect it from a home console.

sigh really...the lot of you would defend ninty to the teeth no matter what it seems. If the port of a home console on a handheld is gimped I will call it out as such..especially if it's not due to the hardware's limitations. NFL vita...is a horror story in that aspect. and has been called out as such.

Fact of the matter is...it's a negative for a home console. There is no good reasoning behind it. And none of you who defends it blindly has given one either. If you actually have a decent argument as to why it's a good thing for the wiiu I'm all ears.

I've already pointed out in a previous post of mine that racing fans who really care buy a steering wheel and pedals. The lack of analog triggers being a negative is not a fact. It's insignificant in the grand scheme of things and anyone who argues otherwise is simply blowing things out of proportion. I can see how the lack of analog triggers could affect a tiny minority, but most people probably won't even realize that such a feature is missing.

-_- yes...that's why the response from racing fans have been so positive about this news. Not all Racing fans play racing games with wheels lol. It's like saying all big fighting fans buy a pad to play fighters or something. I play a ton of fighting games...pretty decent too in some of them. Don't have a fighting pad at all. Most of the people I know that buy wheels are fans of Sims. Not franchises like nfs/burnout

again..not a single reason why this is a good thing...or acceptable as a consumer. If you can't see anything negative about this then it is just damage control now.

For games like nfs and burnout whether it is an analog trigger or digital it does not really matter as these are arcade style racers so the accelerate button does not react like a real life pedal, I have only ever played one game that heavily requires analog triggers and that was Grid as the car would spin out as in real life when the button is pressed (the game measures a digital press as the gas being pressed alll the way, since there is no degree of pressure).

Not saying that leaving out analog triggers are bad or good.
