I don't know any Neogaf people, so this would be a useless exercise. Besides, I consistently acknowledged a tiny minority who will think this is an issue; and like always, such minorities seem to be much bigger on the internet than they are in the real world. I expected you to make a definite statement. Since you refused, it shows that you know you are on thin ice. For the last paragraph I can only repeat what I said moments ago: It's only a minority that will be bothered by this. Just like the lack of a unified achievement system will ultimately only bother a minority and that's actually a much bigger deal, because it extends to beyond just racing games. You made a mountain out of a molehill. That sums it up pretty well. |
You don't really need to know them...go and read and see if their points and concerns are valid or not
Agreeing to a statement with numbers you pulled out of your ass will not prove anything really. The one who has yet come up with one decent argument here is you.
Not really..I didn't even argue much about it...me and the other person were just having a completely civil calm conversation about it before everyone started getting all defensive for no perticular reason.
and you honestly think the lack of a unified system for achievement is gonna bother a 'minority'? Come on now...this thread alone should prove you that. The existence of communities should prove you that. Every single thread on the matter is filled with people who express their displeasure about it. Not really hard ..even for you..to notice such a thing.
the issue with achievements is gonna bug way more people than triggers. That's not something I'm even gonna argue about
but then again why am I even trying talk about the importance of triggers to you :D Chances are you haven't even played any of those games..at least not in a long ass time
