Last Black Friday (in the US), $199.99 for a 160gb ps3 with 2 games (LBP2SE and R&C A4O) was the best one imo (well that UC one in canada is quite tempting now ;x).

That was a one-time bundle though. The 360 had the 4GB Kinect bundle at the same time for only $199, and some stores were selling the 4GB core system by itself for under $150. 360 outsold PS3 by more than 2-1 in the US during Black Friday week.
A $199 16GB PS3 Slim would essentially be Sony's equivalent to the "core" 360 model, so there's no real price advantage there. And if they wanted to, M$ could easily drop the price of the 4GB model to $150 to compete even more with the PS3 and the Wii U's launch.

One time bundle, that was the reason why I bought it, cause I knew something like this would happen lol.
16gb seriously? Not even worth it imo unless you buy a new harddrive and put that in there.

Well nothing's been confirmed yet but from the rumors posted recently, all signs point to Sony releasing a version of the Slim that's more casual / mass consumer friendly and with only a limited amount of onboard flash memory like the 360 core and Wii U have.
