I gave a good reason. Adobe doesn't make flash readily available outside of WIndows and Mac. Linux flash sucks. And they are no longer supporting flash for mobile devices. And HTML 5 will soon take over. With HTML 5 I believe it'll begin being able to support the majority of youtube videos.
