Personally I don't dont one bit about achievements. Find them annoying.
However, reading this it sounds just like Wii. Some Wii games had achievements and although virtually no one used it, their was the ability to share them on Wii (albeit crudely). Big Brain Academy was the only game that really used this though. And some games had leaderboards.
I hope that achievements are used far more extensivesly and shared far more effectively than on Wii but reading this, doesn't give me much hope that it will happen.
