And you do know Europe =/= UK?
People from France Germany Poland Spain Greece etc def earn less money than the average brit/uk guy. Sure Switzerland Luxembourg etc. earn more but the number of gamers etc in those countries is so low compared to the big EU countries because their population is low to begin with.
And US + VAT = still less than EU prices that include VAT. For like 7 years now the dollar has been a weaker currency then the pound or euro and so you guys should even pay more than we do because we both "import" this stuff from japan. (sure its made here but their business works like if we import and thats also why they lose money on currency conversion.) So again wage or VAT is just half the problem the other half is arbitrary pricing/unfair currency conversion.
Btw UK prices are usually lower than mainland europe prices even tho the average brit earns more money. And because people started to "import" games from the UK Sony for example decided to increase manufacturing costs because they wanted to make 2 versions. Most UK versions now are english only and the rest of europe gets multi 5 games ( English German French Spanish Italian).
So this is proof that the companies MILK europe on purpose. Otherwhise they would not start making ENGLISH ONLY versions for the UK that increase manufacturing costs only for mainlanders to decrease the number of games they import. This also happens with alot of blurays. (Harry Potter 7.2 as far as I remember was the first HP movie to have ENGLISH ONLY audio)
