I have been following the handheld wars on VGChartz ever since 2007, and you cannot compare sales in 2012 to sales back in those days. The market has simply changed. There will always be room for dedicated handhelds, but now that phones are powerful enough to be every device you used to carry all in one device, people will just use that since it is so convenient. Now clearly this isn't the only reason, but this is one of the major reasons, in my opinion.

So I do not believe that the 3DS will do as great as the DS, and I think it would be considered a success if it did as well as the PSP, enough though considering the Vita might even curl up and die. Nintendo isn't going to have competition in relation to dedicated gaming devices, so they should have at least some security in that.

You know the last starting time in Sid Mier's Pirate's? The Sunset of Pirates? Well this time is kind of like the sunset of Gaming Dedicated Handhelds.

None of this is Nintendo's fault, I think they came at this the right way after the dropped the price. It's just that the digital age is here... For better or worse.

And that's the only thing I need is *this*. I don't need this or this. Just this PS4... And this gaming PC. - The PS4 and the Gaming PC and that's all I need... And this Xbox 360. - The PS4, the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360, and that's all I need... And these PS3's. - The PS4, and these PS3's, and the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360... And this Nintendo DS. - The PS4, this Xbox 360, and the Gaming PC, and the PS3's, and that's all *I* need. And that's *all* I need too. I don't need one other thing, not one... I need this. - The Gaming PC and PS4, and Xbox 360, and thePS3's . Well what are you looking at? What do you think I'm some kind of a jerk or something! - And this. That's all I need.
