IX sold less is not potatoes and bananas, it's just that you have no real excuse.
Somehow your graphs doesn`t work.
On New Playstation console, New FF/GT game sales more, then last FF/GT game on previous console.
That`s how that always was.
only 5 Ps3 games beat it.
there will be MORE, after FFXIII, MGS4, GT5 and etc.

Gran Turismo 3 - 1,06 mln. in 3 weeks with around 4 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Gran Turismo 4 - 1,16 mln. with 18 mln. PS2 on the launch.

Final Fantasy X - around 2 mln. with 5 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Final Fantasy X-2 - 2.4 mln. with 12 mln. PS2 on the launch.
