Normally in a semi-decent fighting game, spammers are a non-issue. I would much rather play against a spammer because you can just take advantage of frame delays with whatever move they are spamming and punish like crazy. Plus nothing could be more predictable than spammers when most good fighting games require you to be unpredictable with high-low mixups, etc to actually succeed in a competitive environment.

But yeah I would hate them to map moves on to the touch screen because it would hinder some of the newbies from actually learning to play the game properly. Super Street Fighter 4 3D comes to mind, and the lag online on that game just made things that much worse.
