Looking at it for an alternate point of view, if one of my favourite franchises suddenly went from being multi-platform to exclusive on a console I didn't own I would be a bit annoyed. My top 5 franchises are in a position where it is unlikely to ever happen to them. I would be left in an awkward situation if it did, as it takes more than just one game for me to commit to a console.
As for the actually game, I tried the demo for the first game on the Xbox 360 and it just didn't appeal to me. watching all the rants as a neutral is fairly amusing.
