for BEST performance. i.e. limitations to wifi-n is what we're working with. Considering this is a games machine, it will have a lot of data to transmit. So, it may also depend on the game itself as well as walls, windows, and electronic sources of interference. Personally, with a headphone in it, who cares. People can play right in living room while others are watching TV or whatever.
