seems cool, but this only seems to be useful in the usa. does this cost anything?

doesn't cost anything to use it but you'd have to pay for netflix, or hulu plus, etc etc, it's basically a nice looking social hub for online tv services.

ok cool. so tell me what does xbox live offer that this nintendoTv doesnt? dont want to start a flame bate or anything but just want to know thats all.

It's not so much what they have to offer, I'm impressed by the integration and the way it can be controlled with the included tablet controller, it just looks really smooth and user friendly, it's what anybody who uses his/her console for multimedia would want IMHO. They showed a listing, then it seems that it can tell if a service has that media and lets you choose which service you want to use right on the spot instead of you hopping everywhere, it's also integrated with Tivo, and seems to have a good search engine for all those services, it just seems to make life so easy no matter what age group you are in.

yeah the intergration seems good, but honestly some aspects were just stupid.... like watching a trailer on the tablet while watching a movie? seriously? its much more of a marketing thing than an actual usefull feature. the wheel seems cool and flashy but doesnt seem really practile to me, but i cant really judge without trying it. either way nintendo is giving its all to compete with PSN and xbox live. your move microsoft, your move sony
