I think the $60 price tier for retail games is f****ed, regardless of which console we're talking about . There's basically $60 for any major release (regardless of game size and budget), and between $5-$15 for WiiWare, PSN, and XBLA games. Where's the middle ground? Why should I be paying $60 for Nintendoland, which is simply a compilation of tech demos with Nintendo themes tacked on? Well, I shouldn't be. Until this unfair price tier gets busted open, and games are sold to their actual value, there will continue to be a decline in console gaming. In this economic climate, people aren't allowing themselves to be taken for as much as just a few years ago. And gamers are wiser to how much actual value is in a game, compared with the perceived value set forth by publishers.
