Apple keeps one size of phone purely for developmental reasons. Developers love only having to code for 4-5 devices versus the hundreds of configurations for Android devices. It creates a clean, simple development cycle that churns out better apps faster and cheaper than possible on Android. Plus, most customers don't seem to really care. Loads of them bought 3.5" screened iPhones for five years (the small screen size was the main reason I left the iPhone camp but now that they've upped that to 4", I'm returning to the fold). |
Yeah I suppose so, but if Apple done that, surely it would be no different to when the ipad first launched, which has plenty of support now. But enjoy your iphone 5!
