Apple should at least release a cheap old style 3.5" iphone and a more expensive 4.3" iphone, at the same time. I spose it varies from person, but my current phone has a 3.2" scrren (HTC wildfire) and it just seems to small, while I get 3.5" on my ipod touch, which is decent. But i would rather have a galaxy nexus (4.7" screen). The galaxy note II is really big (5.5") but i would not mind owning one! To me, 4.3 inches is the perfect size and anything above 4.7 inches is a bit excessive. And if no one wanted anything above 4" on their phone, how come the samsung galaxy s II and the samsung galaxy s III sold so well?

Apple keeps one size of phone purely for developmental reasons. Developers love only having to code for 4-5 devices versus the hundreds of configurations for Android devices. It creates a clean, simple development cycle that churns out better apps faster and cheaper than possible on Android.

Plus, most customers don't seem to really care. Loads of them bought 3.5" screened iPhones for five years (the small screen size was the main reason I left the iPhone camp but now that they've upped that to 4", I'm returning to the fold).

Yeah I suppose so, but if Apple done that, surely it would be no different to when the ipad first launched, which has plenty of support now. But enjoy your iphone 5!
