Haha, that was pretty funny. I just wonder how many people they didn't show who could tell it wasn't the new one. Myself I'd definitely be able to tell that it was a 4S. It looks exactly like my 4 (that I've used for +2 years) except with much better internals. Anyway, just pre-ordered a 32gb white iPhone 5 from my local carrier (Softbank) at one of their shops near my place. After waiting for a bit behind the other people it only took a few minutes to get everything changed since I was basically upgrading from my old iPhone 4. The only bad thing is that the price of my unlimited packet plan is increasing in price from 1,000 yen from the unlimited 3G to unlimited 4G LTE. Hopefully, I get it next week! |
Good observation and understanding of how these things work. The video is quite funny and it is meant to be. They wouldn't show the people who called their bluff. People take a good joke and turn it into a negative stereotype about the targetted group. Like this thread about the video. http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=147609&page=1 . Everyone just assumes 100% people fell for it and disregard that video was edited from hours of content to 2 minutes.
By the way enjoy your new phone. Hopefully i can get a good deal on it too from my service provider.
