$299 is decent price no matter how late they are in the generation and is on par with PS3 and 360. I guess Nintendo has $50-80 in hand per console to reduce the price if needed just like 3DS.
With that outrageous price of the tablet controller, I see my nephews fighting for the sole tablet controller in the future. Not good.
