The intro to the first game was what made me go ahead and buy it. It felt pretty magical. When I played it, I was like "what's my motivation?" Getting more stickers and stuff to create a level nobody will ever play? The enemies were just a bunch of stuff cobbled together. Sackboy was just a blank canvas. It just didn't do it for me. I've even played online and local co-op. I've played levels that had to have taken a ton of work and love to create. In the end, I guess it's just not my type of experience. |
I think I get what you mean. The devs left a lot to the player to fill in for themselves and you couldn't quite find the right peices for the empty slots. I had that problem as well when i would play the game alone sometimes. It's us that lack souls.
