I noticed this with the load times for UMVC 3.  Game loads way to slow for flash memory.

Makes you wonder even more they decided to go with this MemCard instead of the ProDuo, such a fail decision. Sony needs to loosen up the rains on the Vita, no one likes a close knit propriatary system....

The only other possibility I can think of is the copy protection scheme they implemented really slows the cards down.  Either that or the cards cost $0.05 dollars to make.
