Was it really such a big deal to ban me because you were too lazy to look up simple facts? Not to mention ban me as I'm getting resources. Pretty immature.
An intelligent person throws out ban information for good, yet, it seems to be that, on this site, people treat consoles like nations, and they, those certain people, I mean, are over patriotic...
With that said, yes, sure, I was wrong about the 360's frame rate. All it took was me re-checking information to figure that out. Not a god damn ban for christ sake. However, everything else I said is still true...
1. Tekken 6, the arcade version, runs on PS3 hardware: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Namco_System_357
It even uses the XMB, I've seen it in a youtube vid years ago, and clearly states on wikipedia that it uses the XMB
If you read the site you'll see that Tekken 6 uses the 357 board, and the 369 board is basically an updated version of it. You cannot turn the motion blur off in the arcade version, it only exist on consoles because it effects the rendering. Again, the arcade version is stronger than home consoles, so it can handle it.
2. Soul Calibur IV, V and Tekken 6 don't run on the same engine.
Hold on. Look at what I've said. Arcade board is HARDWARE. Engine is SOFTWARE.
Therefore, Soul Calibur and Tekken already have some differences, because Soul Calibur is not ported from an arcade, as Soul Calibur's last arcade game was Soul Calibur III.
When you start Tekken 6... You don't see the Havok physics engine credited anywhere. Not on the game's box, or start up screens. Tekken Tag 2 shows it, and so does Soul Calibur IV, and maybe V too.
It was even stated several times by Harada that Tekken 6 could not handle 4 characters on the screen at a time, and that for TTT2, the engine had to be changed.
But, whatever. I'll tell you what. This banning for no damned reason is out of hand. As if I didn't own a 360 and PS3. Then, after the ban, users start flaming me, knowing I can't post, yet, get no infractions. Unbelievable. People are too up-tight here, and easily offended.
That's all I have to say on this. I'm not making the official TTT2 thread anymore, detailing all the characters, replays, etc. Someone else can do it, or visit a Tekken-related site. Too much effort for over 60 characters anyway.
