Just spotted this.
From Wikipedia: "It [Motorstorm 2] was announced by Sony after their acquisition of Evolution Studios, with an anticipated release in 2008. It has been confirmed that a modified version of the original MotorStorm game engine will be used for this title."
Also from the Evolution studios homepage:
"These are exciting times at Evolution as we work more with our friends at Studio Liverpool and get the sequel to MotorStorm made - expect to see posts about these subjects and more, as well as general messing about, from now on."
It's announced. :)
