My calculation makes sense because it's the same as the 3DS in Japan and the West right now, I'm not translating the prices straight.

I understand what you're saying, but the 3DS was sold at that price because Nintendo was worried that the dollar would fall to being worth less than 70 yen ...

The dollar-yen exchange ratio has remained pretty unchanged since late 2010 though and they still went for the 170 tag with 3DS.
