The 3DS XL sold more in Japan than the Vita in a little over a month than the Vita did in nearly 9 months.

Meh if the PS3 after 9 months of being at 700$. And then the Wii came out with a new version for the Wii that was cool and better 1 year and 4 months after release. I think after 1 month the new wii would outsell it. This is also assuming the wii was out a year before PS3 in this hypothetical situation.
